MONGOLIAN VECTOR OF RUSSIAʼS “TURN TO THE EAST”:
INFRASTRUCTURE AND ECONOMIC CONNECTIVITY

The article examines the development of the Mongolian vector of the Russian “Turn to the East”, raises actual issues on strengthening infrastructure connectivity and modernization of border checkpoints. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the interim trade agreement signed in June 2025 between the Eurasian Economic Union and Mongolia, and an assessment of the possibilities of preferential trade. Along with the intensification of economic relations, the need of cultural exchanges development and cooperation in the field of education is noted.

МОНГОЛЬСКИЙ ВЕКТОР РОССИЙСКОГО «ПОВОРОТА НА ВОСТОК»:
ИНФРАСТРУКТУРНАЯ И ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКАЯ СВЯЗАННОСТЬ

В статье рассматривается развитие монгольского вектора российского «Поворота на Восток», поднимаются актуальные вопросы по усилению инфраструктурной связанности и модернизации пограничных пунктов пропуска. Особое внимание уделено анализу подписанного в июне 2025 г. временного торгового соглашения между странами Евразийского экономического союза и Монголией, оценке возможностей преференциальной торговли. Наряду с активизацией экономических отношений отмечена необходимость развития культурных обменов и сотрудничества в сфере образования.
