Статья посвящена исследованию традиционного и современного состояния ювелирного искусства якутов. Выделены основные типы и подтипы якутских традиционных украшений, характерные стилистические особенности и символический смысл изделий. К каждому типу украшений подобраны изделия из музейных фондов Якутии и зарубежных музеев. Особое внимание уделено влиянию культурных традиций, природных условий и религиозных представлений на формирование специфического художественного облика якутских украшений. Анализируются современные тенденции развития, роль традиционных якутских украшений в сохранении этнического самовыражения и культурной идентификации якутов. Подчеркиваются перспективы развития якутского ювелирного искусства, выраженного в сохранении традиционного ремесла и появлении новых направлений креативного дизайна, обогащенных наследием предков.

The article is devoted to the study of the traditional and modern state of the Yakut jewelry art. The main types and subtypes of the Yakut traditional jewelry, the characteristic stylistic features and symbolic meaning of the products are highlighted. For each type of jewelry, the products from the museum funds of Yakutia and foreign museums are selected. Special attention is paid to the influence of cultural traditions, natural conditions and religious beliefs on the formation of the specific artistic appearance of the Yakut jewelry. The current trends of development, the role of traditional Yakut jewelry in preserving the ethnic self-expression and cultural identity of the Yakuts are analyzed. In conclusion, the article highlights the prospects for the development of Yakut jew-elry art, which is expressed in the preservation of traditional crafts and the development of new areas of creative design enriched with the legacy of ancestors.
