\nOF URBAN RESIDENTS’ QUALITY OF LIFE IN HUHHOT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Urban residents’ quality of life, as a key indicator for measuring urban sustainable development and residents’ well-being, is of significant importance for understanding the social spatial structure within cities and residents’ satisfaction with their lives. Taking Huhhot as an example, this study analyzes the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of residents’ quality of life at three scales \u2013 city, district, and subdistrict \u2013 using the Quality of Life Index Method and Inverse Distance Weighted Interpolation Method, based on socioeconomic statistical data and census information from 2016 to 2024. Through conducting Bivariate Correlation Analysis and Multiple Linear Regression Models, this study investigates the impact mechanisms of residents’ individual attributes and urban development elements on quality of life from two perspectives. The findings indicate that the overall quality of life of residents in Huhhot is steadily improving, exhibiting a \u201ccenter-periphery\u201d gradient difference in spatial distribution. Specifically, Yuquan District and Xincheng District have higher quality of life indices, whereas the improvement in Huimin District is relatively slow.
