STUDYING STUDENT FAMILIES IN THE REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA: <\/strong>

The article examines the structural\u2011functional, systemic, and activity\u2011based approaches, as well as the research conducted by Russian sociologists, as a theoretical and methodological foundation for studying student families in the Republic of Buryatia. The theoretical and methodological approaches to studying student families in the Republic of Buryatia are also analysed. Concepts that allow us to understand the specifics of this social phenomenon are examined: from an analysis of the features of the functioning of a young family in the context of combining educational and family roles to the study of value orientations and reproductive attitudes of student youth. Special attention is paid to the contradiction between traditional attitudes and the influence of modern global processes. Based on a review of empirical studies, gaps in the study of the topic are identified, the main postulates for constructing a research model for studying student families are defined, and prospects for further research are outlined.
